Archaeology, geology, natural history, past and present Navajo, Ute, and Mormon history, and scenery that stills the soul are all a part of Bluff, Utah. Prehistoric Anasazi rock art and ruins hide in many quiet canyons and rock faces. Tens of thousands of acres of public land surround the town and offer endless opportunities for self-guided exploration on foot, on the river, by vehicle or by air. Comb Ridge, Valley of the Gods, Cedar Mesa, Sand Island, the Goosenecks, Monument Valley, Natural Bridges, and Hovenweep are only a few of the right-next-door areas to visit. This Is truly "the land of room enough and time enough." In town, curio shops, trading posts, and art galleries offer opportunities to browse through fine photography, contemporary artwork, and Native American arts and crafts of silver and turquoise jewelry, pottery and ceramics, baskets, and of course Navajo rugs. The town has several restaurants open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or pick something up at the local market for a sunset picnic on the cliff. We have tables, grills, and loaner utensils.
